Forest Sauna

The forest sauna is designed for a site situated adjacent to an existing ski cabin in Sun Peaks BC. Isolated within the forest, the design is meant to capture the calm serenity of the surrounding old growth forest, framing views into the forest and creating an aperture like experience of the ever changing seasons. The sauna is meant to be used as a year around escape, giving its users a place to reflect, repose, and recover from the velocity of our everyday.
